Frequently Asked Questions

The Club features ten elegant Residences-available in four One-Bedroom and six Two-Bedroom Membership options – as well as an array of on-site amenities. Each Residence is fully furnished. The Club’s staff members enstUe hassle-free enjoyment of your time in Italy. Since there is only an eight to one Membership ratio to Residences and Members have access to all Residences in their Membership category, you wili enjoy greater flexibility and options when requesting your vacation dates. Members may request as many visits as they wish, subject to the reservation policies and availability.

Members own a transferable and willable Membership in the Club, which allows them to reserve vacations in their category every Club Year, subject to the reservation policies. Should a Member, or his or her heirs, choose to transfer their Membership at some future date any appreciation is accrued to that Member. Purchasers of a Membership are responsible for applicable taxes and / or settlement costs associated with the transfer and a standard transfer fee is also charged by the Club for any transfer of Membership.

Palazzo Tornabuoni will not issue more than eight Memberships for each Club Residence. There will be a minimum of ten Residences for up to 80 Memberships, providing Club Members greater flexibility when requesting their vacation dates each year.

Yes. Members may acquire a Membership through a company, association, trust, etc.

Palazzo Tornabuoni has been created to:

The reservation policies allow Members to reserve visits well in advance, while also accommodating more spontaneous visits. As early as November, Members reserve their Planned Vacations for the coming Club year which runs from April 1st to March 31st. Additional vacations may be reserved throughout the year. Members may request consecutive vacations to accommodate longer visits, or request multiple Residences for the same time in order to host friends and family. The Reservation Privileges for Club Tornabuoni Members have been designed to ensure that all Members have equal access to residences in their residence category.
In the One-Bedroom category there is one Two-Bedroom Residence and the Two-Bedroom category has one Three-Bedroom residence. These two specific Residences may be reserved in advance if you are planning to host more guests than your category can normally accommodate.

There is no limit to the number of vacation days that can be reserved by Members, subject to reservation policies and availability.

Vacation reservations can be linked to create longer vacations subject to availability.

A Rotating Priority System® was designed to determine reservation confirmations when the number of Planned Vacation reservation requests for a certain time period exceeds the number of Residences available during the same period. This system has proven to be a fair for fifteen years at other Clubs around the world.

To provide greater flexibility, Members have access to all Club Residences in their Membership category (One-Bedroom and Two-Bedroom). Special requests for a specific Residence will be granted when possible, but cannot be guaranteed. Within the one-bedroom category the Club own 3 one-bedroom Residences and 1 two-bedroom Residence. Within tl1e two/three bedroom category the Club own 5 two-bedroom Residences and 1 Three bedroom Residence. This configuration provides wide flexibility to all our Members.

Yes. Because Members are not restricted to a particular Residence, Members may request more than one Residence in their Membership category at any given time. Such requests will be granted subject to availability.

Each Member can reserve 3 Planned Vacations, that are the 21 days that Members may reserve in advance each Club Year within his or her particular Category. Planned Vacations can be a maximum of 14 consecutive days in length. Additional visits can be reserved as Space Available and Short Notice Vacations.

The Reservation Privileges have been carefully formulated in an attempt to be fair and equitable to all Members. Each Member’s Planned Vacations, Space Available Vacations and Short Notice Vacations will be confirmed in Residences within the Member’s particular Residence Category.
Club Management reserves, as permitted in the Membership Plan, the right to alter these Reservation Privileges from time to time as conditions warrant. Changes that intentionally discriminate against any Category of Member are not permitted. There is no limit to the number of vacation days that can be reserved by Members, subject to use by other Members. Vacation reservations can be linked to create longer vacations subject to availability.

Members may reserve up to one year or as short as one day in advance, and may request as many visits as iliey wish, subject only to ilie reservation policies and availability.
We do not sell time. Use of the Club is unlimited and subject only to availability.

Yes. Members may invite guests to stay with them during their vacations and they may also invite Unaccompanied Guests to use any of their confirmed vacations without a guest fee.

Yes. The annual Membership fees pay for the professional management and operation of all Club facilities and amenities. Included in these arumal fees are funds for staff salaries, supplies, maintenance, legal/ accounting, insurance, capital reserves, utilities and property taxes.

The management of the Club is the exclusive responsibility of the Administrative Body. The Administrative Body, as a Sole Director, proposes budgets and fees on an annual basis.

Yes. Members pay a moderate housekeeping and check-out reimbursement cleaning fee based on the length of their stay. They also pay upon check-out for any additional a la carte services, such as spa treatments and private dinners, phone charges and any applicable taxes. Members are not billed for visits regardless of how many times or how long they stay in the Palace.

No. Traditional timeshare define ownership of a block of weeks in specific seasons that is associated with a specific Residence. A Private Residence Club offers Members access to all Residences in their Membership category, resulting in greater flexibility and option when requesting vacation dates each year. Members may request as many visits as they wish, subject to the reservation policies and availability. Membership is similar to that of a prestigious golf Club, the key difference being that Members of Palazzo Tornabuoni reserve elegant Residence inside a 15th century Palace rather than tee times.
